Grade 3-4 2nd Petition – Thy kingdom come. – What does this mean?

God’s kingdom certainly comes by itself even without our prayer, but we pray in this petition that it may come to us and to many others.

Grade 5-8 #161 Psalm 103:1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Grade 5-8 10th Commandment – You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his workers or his animals or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we do not force or entice away from our neighbor his wife, workers, or animals, but urge them to stay and do their duty.

Grade 7-8 3rd Commandment – Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we do not despise preaching and his Word, but regard it as holy, and gladly hear and learn it.
